Yang Sizhong has presided over and participated in more than 10 research projects of prefabricated buildings in China and Beijing. He participated in the compilation of more than 20 national, industrial, local and group standards. He presided over the construction of the first automatic assembly line of prefabricated components in Beijing, the research and development of the first "prefabricated components information management system (PCIS)" in China, and the research and development of longitudinal ribbed composite shear wall structure system. In 2015, he was awarded the title of "Contemporary China Outstanding Engineer" by Architectural Society of China. In 2017, he won the title of "Outstanding Engineer of Concrete and Cement Products Industry".
